Wimbledon Lawn Tennis Museum, Wimbledon

The Wimbledon Lawn Tennis Museum contains over 15,000 artefacts and interactive exhibits that record the history of lawn tennis as well as documenting the most famous tennis tournament in the world.

Visitors can watch a unique film about the science of tennis on a 200 degree screen, see an extensive collection of the tennis outfits dating from the 1880's to the present day and experience centre court from the new viewing gallery.

There are interactive exhibits throughout the museum as well as a ghostly McEnroe presence.

The museum is only open to ticket holders during the tennis championships.

Opening Times

Open: Throughout the year, daily: 10.00am – 5pm. Last admission is 4.30pm. The Museum is only open to ticket holders during The Championships (21 June - 4 July 2010).

Closed: The middle Sunday of The Championships, the Monday immediately after The Championships, 24th, 25th, 26th December and 1st January.
