The Church of St Margaret, Westminster Abbey, London
The Anglican church of St. Margaret, Westminster Abbey is the parish church of the House of Commons in London.
Originally founded in the 12th century by Benedictine monks, St Margaret's was rebuilt from 1486 to 1523. It became the parish church of the Palace of Westminster in 1614.
Sir Walter Raleigh, executed in Old Palace Yard was buried in the church in 1618, as were the poet John Milton, and Admiral Robert Blake.
The church has been a common venue for "society" weddings, including those of Samuel Pepys and Sir Winston Churchill.

The church is open to visitors at the following times:
Monday-Friday 9.30am - 3.30pm
Saturdays 9.30am - 1.30pm
Sundays 2pm - 5pm
