The October Gallery, London
The October Gallery is an art gallery showing contemporary work from all cultures around the world.
Since opening in 1978, the October Gallery has promoted the art and artists of the Transvangarde or trans-cultural avant-garde; work by artists who, whilst at the forefront of their own culture's artistic practices, are also alive to cross-currents and developments taking place in the arts practice of other cultures. In more than 28 years of showing art from around the planet, the October Gallery has exhibited the work of artists from over sixty-five different countries.
