Marwell Zoo, Hampshire

Marwell is run by Marwell Preservation Trust and is dedicated to the conservation of wildlife habitats both locally and internationally. Visitors can see animals by walking around the park or taking the free road train which makes several stops along its route.

Attractions include Tropical World, World of Lemurs, Penguin World, Heart of Africa, Giraffe walkway and Keeper encounters. During school holidays you can meet and question the keepers at Marwell about their work and the animals they look after.

For kids inspired by monkeys there are several adventure playgrounds with rope climbing, slides bridges and climbing frames.

Refreshments are available throughout the park or you can take your own picnic.

Opening Times

Marwell is open every day except December 25th from 10am.
Closing times are 5pm from 15th - 30th March and
6pm from 31st March
