Leadenhall Market, London
Leadenhall Market is a stunning indoor market that dates back to the 14th century. Located in the City of London near to the Lloyd's building, the market stalls sell fresh food from 07:00, Monday to Friday. There are also shops, bars and restaurants.
The current building was designed in 1881 by Sir Horace Hones and has a beautiful, ornate roof structure constructed with wrought iron and glass. The old cobbled floors coupled with the high glass roof make it an attractive place to shop or eat.
Fans of the Harry Potter films may have seen Leadenhall market which featured as Diagon Alley in The Philosopher's Stone.
