Highland Museum of Childhood , Scotland,

The Museum was initially based on the doll and toy collection of former local resident, Mrs Angela Kellie. It is now a museum of local, regional and national significance, telling the story of Childhood in the Highlands through photographic collections, interpretive displays, original illustrative material and artefacts. The collections includes dolls, toys and games, as well as children’s costume and childhood furniture. Since 2009 the museum has begun to collect local and family history.

The Museum holds a small number of original photographs and small items of printed ephemera. It also has a collection of children’s books, encyclopedias, school books and bound copies of children’s comics from the turn of the last century.
