Clarence House, St James's Palace, London

Clarence House is currently home to the Prince of Wales and his family but has also been the official residence of the Queen Mother and Her Majesty the Queen. Clarence House is a working residence where the Royal family entertain official guests from all over the world.

The house is open to visitors from August through to October and the guided tour takes you through five rooms and adjoining spaces on the ground floor. Inside you can see items from the Royal Collection including some of the Queen Mother's art collection with works by John Piper, Graham Sutherland, W. S. Sickert and Augustus John. All tickets are timed and must be pre-booked. For information or to book tickets visit the Royal Collection website.

There are no toilet facilities within Clarence house, visitors are advised to use the toilets at St James's Park or the nearest underground station.
