Birdworld, Surrey

Bird World occupies 26 acres in Surrey and is one of Britain's largest bird parks.
On display are birds from around the world ranging from the smallest wren to the largest Ostrich. Daily events include twice daily feeding of the penguins, and outdoor flying display, owl prowl feeding tour, Heron Theatre show and animal handling on the farm.

A safari road train ride will take you on a tour of some of the larger birds and this tour includes an educational commentary. For young children there are plenty of play areas and a willow maze. You can take your own food which can be eaten in the picnic areas or enjoy a snack or meal and the various kiosks or restaurant.
