Alton Towers Water Park, Staffordshire

Alton Towers Water Park is located within the Alton Towers Theme Park. The Water park has a huge indoor area which can guarantee fantastic tropical temperatures. There is something for all ages, whether you want to enjoy a quiet swim in the Lagoon or get your adrenaline pumping on Master Blaster Water Coaster.

There are several Water slides including the Master Blaster Water Coaster, Rush 'n' Rampage and Flash Floods. These rides take you on a series of tubes that thread their way around the top of the water park and one uses blasts of water to twist and turn you at break neck speeds. You need to be 1.1 metre tall to ride on the water slides.

For younger guests there is a paddle and slide in the Little Leak area and 70 interactive water features throughout the park. If you are over 5 years you can enjoy the warm bubbling waters of the Bubbly Wubbly Pool or the Volcano Springs.

There is also an outdoor area which is open subject to availability and weather conditions.

The water park does operate an adult child ratio policy which is
0-4 years: 1 adult to 1 child
5-9 years: 1 adult to 2 children
Kids under 10 must be accompanied into the water by a responsible adult (16+).
Any guest unable to fulfil the ratio requirements will not be allowed into the Waterpark.

When you have worked up an appetite in the water you can enjoy snacks and drinks within the bar and restaurant.

The park is extremely popular and it is recommended that you book your tickets in advance to ensure your entry.

Opening Times

Opening times vary throughout the year. At peak times the park is open from 10am until 9pm. Check the website or call for specific times.

During the summer school holidays the Waterpark operates two daily sessions - 10:00-15:00 and 16:00-21:00 - choose your session when you book online.

Disabled Facilities

The ground area of the park is accessible for the disabled however each ride has individual restrictions. There are disabled changing rooms and showers.
